Be Conscious

“A human being is part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. We experience ourselves, our thoughts and feelings as something separate from the rest. A kind of optical delusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us.  Our task must be to free ourselves from the prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. The true value of a human being is determined by the measure and the sense in which they have obtained liberation from the self.  We shall require a substantially new manner of thinking if humanity is to survive.” — Albert Einstein

is the quality or state of being aware of an external object or something within oneself.[1][2] It has been defined as: subjectivity, awareness, sentience, the ability to experience or to feel, wakefulness, having a sense of selfhood, and the executive control system of the mind.[3] Despite the difficulty in definition, many philosophers believe that there is a broadly shared underlying intuition about what consciousness is; the quality or state of being aware especially of something within oneself

The year is ending, a time for new beginnings. This year, 2012, has been a profound shift and a year of change for me. What has happened? So much. I’ve awaken into myself, my body, my dreams, and reconnected with who I am. For so long I felt stuck, trapped, like something was wrong with this world, and my life. I was unhappy, I was depressed, I was sad, I was confused, and I was so lost. Slowly, with the help of many nice friends, some books, some mystics, and teachers, I’ve now woken up.

To remember who I was, before all the other people, ideas, programs, got in the way, I’ve found Me, and consciously am aware of my life, my actions, my journey, my lessons. It’s amazing when You’re able to connect, connect to the changes, the seasons, and notice the shifts internally and externally and you delve deeper into you…. Forget about the others, the opinions, and the past regrets and attitudes. Do you makes you YOU, what brings you joy, and carry forward trusting in that happiness…

“One of the greatest discoveries is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitudes of mind.”   — William James

“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle.  The other is as though everything is a miracle.” –Abert Einstein
